For indoor shots, neutral colours work best (white, beige, black, gray) with no patterns. Sheets, tablecloths, or Bristol board are great options. A contrasting background helps your product stand out. Remove distractions like chairs, windows, or cupboards.
Outdoors, use nature thoughtfully—always keeping the focus on your product.
3. Staging & props.
Props can add dimension and personality, but keep them minimal. Your product should fill about two-thirds of the frame. One product per photo.
